Middle August Fishing

Still picking up some nice fish even with all the high temps Mike has an 18.5 inch Cutbow up top, nice fish.

Week of July 22nd

The river is still giving up some real nice Cutthroat. I'm looking forward to this next week being a little cooler should help some. Use large attractor patterns if nothing on the water.

Getting some nice fish on dry flies still. Not as many takes but nice sized ones, good job Jeff and Mike.

I floated the Flathead River today and we did well on nymphs saw a couple risers but not a hatch to really get them going. It was a geat half day trip with Linda and David as you can see by the photos.

Spring Time in the Flathead

Flathead River is ready to fish right now way ahead of normal especially the last couple years. I will be floating it on Tuesday and will try and update after that. Rogers Lake is still good for Grayling was up there recently and did well. Also a recent trip to Bitteroot Lake jigging for Salmon.
