Flathead lake and Flathead River

The Lake is still fishing fair we have to fish deep and troll right now but getting a few. The jigging for Whitefish has been picking up as of late at the mouth. The river is very low but still picking up a few good fish slower in the heat of the day.

And a bear for everyone who wants to see one

March is the time for big fish on Flathead Lake

Top three fish were caught on March 14 all three right at 19 pounds

I caught the Lake Trout  on March 17 several others the biggest one was just over 21 pounds

Fall fishing doing well on flies and on the lake

24" Bull Trout a surprise on the river but it is fall

Just a great time to find feeding fish in the fall
Also Flathead lake has been lots of action with the cooler weather

The Rivers and Lakes are both producing nice fish

Still doing well on lots of lakes catching Lake Trout, Salmon, Rainbow, and Arctic Grayling. Looking forward to getting on the river soon, by next week I hope?
